NCTC members in Warren County will soon have access to internet speeds up to a gigabit per second.

The Fiber for Warren project is expected to be completed by midsummer 2020. NCTC members in Warren County will then have access to the fastest, most reliable internet technology available with a variety of speeds to choose from. Speeds up to 1 Gbps will be available, but members can also choose bandwidth packages of 150 Mbps or 250 Mbps.

Crews will begin installing fiber in mid-March in Area 1, which includes September Lakes Way, Marston Mill Way and parts of Nob Hill Road and Old Post Drive. They will continue building in subsequent areas and should complete Area 7 by midsummer. However, long periods of rain and/or snow could delay the completion date.

The Fiber for Warren broadband project is a partnership between NCTC and Warren RECC to provide fiber optic broadband for members in Warren County. By working together, we can provide Warren County with lightning-fast internet that will improve the quality of life and increase opportunities in the region.
