Bowling Green, Kentucky – An act of teamwork and partnership was celebrated today, one relating to reliable internet connection coming for all Warren County residents.

From a partnership between Warren Rural Electric and NCTC, along with a $10 million grant from Warren County Fiscal Court, the fiber for Warren broadband project seeks to provide reliable internet for all of Warren County.

The ribbon-cutting was held at the Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce Thursday morning.

President and CEO of Warren RECC Dewayne McDonald says he’s thrilled to see it all come together.

“This is exciting for all of us. In a way, it’s been a long time coming, at the same time, since the two groups Warren Electric and NCTC have partnered, this has been extremely fast. We’re truly excited to make this announcement that will benefit members of Warren Electric and Warren County,” McDonald.
